Where do you feel most resourced and in touch with your inner self, your heart, and your guiding energy?
Think of that place now.
Where are you in flow, where does time disappear and the real you effortlessly emerge?
Remember that feeling now.
So much of work invites us to disconnect from what resources us: nature, family, music, humanity, movement, art. We spend our lives travelling in metal tubes, and sitting in big concrete and glass boxes trying, all the time trying so hard, to think of better, staying in our heads and disconnected from our bodies, disconnected from our best selves, unconsciously repeating the patterns of yesterday as we face into the evolving challenges of tomorrow.
But the truth is that we can connect to that part of us at any time, and we can create opportunities to do so collectively too. We can choose a different path.
When we allow our eyes to close and our hearts to open and we take ourselves back to that place where we feel most resourced, different ways to relate emerge. Whether we are looking for improvement with customers, teammates, stakeholders, success, or energy, closing our eyes and opening our hearts creates a world of different options.
Working systemically and somatically opens up new pathways. In that space we re-source ourselves individually and collectively to work from where we can feel authentic understanding and congruent connection with those around us, and from where a shared sense of beneficial belonging and results that matter can emerge.
